About the event
Join us for this FREE Workshop! [Venue different to Seminars, see below]
This interactive workshop builds on the themes introduced in the seminar on aging and driving, expanding the conversation to address the broader changes we all experience as we grow older. While driving can be a symbol of independence, it's just one of many areas where aging may require us to adapt.
Together, we’ll explore practical strategies for recognizing and responding to changes in vision, mobility, cognition, and reaction time—both behind the wheel and in everyday life. We’ll also discuss ways to maintain purpose, connection, and autonomy through lifestyle adjustments, assistive tools, community resources, and proactive planning.
Participants will leave with:
Tools for self-assessment and awareness of age-related changes
Resources and tips for maintaining independence without driving
Guidance on incorporating therapies or supports to preserve abilities
Inspiration to approach aging with resilience and confidence
Education Partners with Comprehensive Home Health Solutions provide a safe, supportive space for open dialogue, shared experiences, and personal reflection—because adapting to change doesn’t mean giving up freedom, it means redefining it.
Venue is the Training Room at the Office of Annette & Brett Junell, Keller Williams, 10539 Professional Circle, Suite 100, Reno, NV 89521.
